A complete immersive creative experience where I was able to manage every aspect of the project; from design, restoration and build, to landscaping and interior design.
This project was an incredible creative challenge to breathe new life into a beautiful Victorian home and seamlessly blend old and new, past and present.
The aim was to restore the original homestead, ensuring it was structurally sound whilst retaining as many of its defining design characteristics as possible. The new double storey extension was designed to maximise the occupants’ experience of the gorgeous natural surrounds, while still being visually cohesive with the existing structure

Precision Tech Building Concepts
With the subdivision of land over the years, the original homestead facade ended up being orientated to face the rear of the property.
A concealed trap door was found to the subfloor which was used to hide from bushrangers, back in the day.
So many different additions were made over the years, by the draftsman and then architect who were previous custodians. One of which being this turrent that became the entry to the home.

Her design resulted in a seamless addition to a historical Melbourne home; flawlessly unifying the beauty of yesteryear with the practicalities of today.
